When you get ready to build your new home you might be surprised to find out that buying new grass is a part of it. When homes are built new for customers the land has to be brought down to the dirt before the foundation is put down. This leave homeowners with a large dirt pile around their home. Most subdivisions even have a requirement for the types and amount of grass that is needed for their community. Buying grass seeds is the best way to go about returning your land to it's proper appearance.
Grass seeds are easy to plant and maintain. Most homeowners are able to lay grass seed themselves without even having to hire a professional. This is cheaper and easier than laying sod which is established patches of grass. Grass seed tends to grow pretty quickly and there are a variety of different types of seed types. Fertilizer for grass is widely available, if it doesn't take on its own.
